This is a sweet play with layered white flowers, stripes and contrasting colours. My grandmother, Violet, loved chrysanthemums so I had her in mind when painting this little cutie.

Artist Bio: A passionate collector of ceramics, fabrics, art books, and artworks, Vanessa creates evocative, moody tableaux that blend personal objects with elements drawn from memory, imagination, and inspiration. Through a dynamic interplay of colour, pattern, and form, her compositions capture the vibrancy of everyday life, celebrating the imperfect and the intimate. Each piece is an invitation to pause, reflect, and find beauty in the ordinary.
