I am forever trying to capture the macro details of flora in photographs, to preserve that initial wonder. This large canvas takes you almost inside the blooms. You cannot escape the vibrant shades of pink, magenta, red and teal and they will bring a brightness and focal point to any room.
Artist Bio: Working primarily in acrylic, Bronwyn’s practice explores texture, form and colour to evoke a strong sense of place and connection to the natural world.
Immersed in the bushland and regional landscapes of her small town, Bronwyn draws inspiration from close observation and ongoing engagement with her surroundings. Her works often begin with field observation and reference imagery, developing into detailed illustrations and vibrant paintings that reflect both the delicacy and resilience of Australian ecosystems. Familiar environments are rendered with clarity and warmth, inviting viewers to pause and reconnect with the everyday beauty of nature.
Bronwyn seeks to foster appreciation for Australia’s natural environment, creating works that are accessible, contemplative and grounded in place.
