A lone figure stands before an impossible monument, dwarfed by something ancient, silent and seemingly endless. The familiar forms of the Sphinx and pyramids have been pulled from history and reconstructed within a dream, where scale, time and logic no longer behave as they should.
The empty eyes of the Sphinx offer no answers. Instead, the endless arches draw the figure deeper toward the unknown.
The work explores our desire to understand what lies beyond us — the mysteries we inherit, the questions we carry, and the strange feeling of standing before something far greater than ourselves.
