Artist Bio: Belinda Marshall is a Melbourne-based abstract landscape painter. Her work honours the power of the landscape to draw us from our everyday preoccupations into a place of deep and tranquil connection. She is inspired by the shapes revealed when landscape forms interact with the skyline, when light filters through the moving canopy and falls in patches on cascading lower levels and banks – the shifting and merging of layers in her work offer a softer world with endless room to breathe.
