Bronwyn Tracey
Delicate dance ballerina flower, 2026
Acrylic on stretched canvas
Height 25 cm x Width 20 cm
Artwork is stretched and ready to hang & comes with a certificate of authenticity
Starting Bid: $250
This small but striking canvas depicts a fuchsia flower that has always captivated me since childhood. Enjoy what I used to call “the ballerina flower” on your wall or shelf. She’s bright, bold, with a chunky canvas that allows her to sit freestanding on a surface like a bookshelf, to accommodate her small stature. Can also be hung on the wall to bring a pop of colour to your space.
Artist Bio: Working primarily in acrylic, Bronwyn’s practice explores texture, form and colour to evoke a strong sense of place and connection to the natural world.
Immersed in the bushland and regional landscapes of her small town, Bronwyn draws inspiration from close observation and ongoing engagement with her surroundings. Her works often begin with field observation and reference imagery, developing into detailed illustrations and vibrant paintings that reflect both the delicacy and resilience of Australian ecosystems. Familiar environments are rendered with clarity and warmth, inviting viewers to pause and reconnect with the everyday beauty of nature.
Bronwyn seeks to foster appreciation for Australia’s natural environment, creating works that are accessible, contemplative and grounded in place.
