‘we are a gathering of presences’
an exploration of aliveness, of the invisible threads that move between the body, imagination and the world.
there's something about painting that feels like entering a conversation with the unknown. a place where gestures, colours and forms begin to find their own language, where something unspoken becomes momentarily visible.
this work emerged through that kind of listening. layers of movement, fragments of memory, spontaneous gestures and moments of uncertainty, each finding their place within a larger unfolding.
i've been thinking about the ways we inhabit one another, how our experiences, relationships, memories and encounters continue to shape the architecture of who we are.
perhaps we are never entirely singular. perhaps we are always becoming, gathering pieces of the world into ourselves, while leaving something of ourselves in everything we touch.
a gathering of presences.
a little reminder that aliveness is not something we possess, but something we participate in.
