A flowing asymmetrical composition that echoes the Golden Ratio, leading the viewer through the present moment.
Life often appears linear measured by time, expectations, and the constant pursuit of what comes next. The vertical lines in the background represent this structure: the path we believe life should follow. Flowing across them is a single curved band, symbolising the present moment. Unlike the rigid lines, it moves freely, reminding us that life is truly experienced not in the future or the past, but in the now.
The dog, flowers, ball, and apple are still life elements that exist together within a single frame. Though each has its own place, they all share the same present moment. They rest upon the flowing band, existing within life’s linear structure while choosing presence over progression. Inspired by the way animals experience life, the painting reflects a simple truth: the whole universe unfolds here and now. Every moment, every object, every living being exists only in this shared present. While we cannot escape the structure of time, we can choose to fully inhabit the moment in which life is actually happening.
