A painting of the Giant of the Appenines emerging from the forests of Belgrave. This is one of the paintings exhibited in June 2026 in my exhibition: Forest Dreaming, at Artemisia Gallery, Windsor. The idea for the show was to break free from traditional landscape and add different elements to forest scenes that are drawn from memory, experience and photo reference.
Artist Bio: I have an upcoming exhibition in June 2026 at Artemisia, Windsor: surreal forested landscapes interspersed with dreeamlike elements. Previous shows at Brunswick Street Gallery (BSG), Painted City: landscape paintings of the inner north and Melbourne City, and a series on Wildflowers found in the city. I have participated in group exhibitions across Australia, and l hold a bachelor of Visual Arts & Design, Postgraduate degree in Creative Writing and Bachelor of Arts.
