Carousel Garden
**Original Mixed Media Artwork by Kim Magee**
Part of my **Wonky Blooms** series, *Carousel Garden* brings together playful florals, nostalgic pattern and bold colour in a joyful contemporary folk-art still life.
A wonderfully wonky bouquet of green blooms with sunny yellow centres spills from a distinctive fabric-collage vase featuring tiny vintage-style carousel horses. The vivid coral-red background contrasts beautifully with the blues, greens and reds of the patterned vase.
Created using **fabric collage, acrylic paint and oil pastel**, the artwork embraces loose brushwork, visible texture and deliberately imperfect shapes — all part of the charm of my naïve folk-art style.
