Sunday is the day in which I paint the most, for me, painting bring such
a sense of joy. It’s a form of meditation, mixing play with control.
While not a religious person, I see myself as quite spiritual, painting is a constant for me, a time for me to unwind, to process thoughts in my subconscious, a space for me to step away from stress and the outer world.
What I love most about my practise is the ability to enjoy the smallest moments, the satisfaction of the brush strokes, the curiosity of mixing colours, it allows me to play, to feel content, to be curious, in my time, in my home,
And maybe that's true of life too - those moments when one chapter isn't quite finished, but the next hasn't yet begun. Not an ending, not a beginning.
Still something.
Artist Bio: Her process is intuitive, grounded in motion rather than outcome. Lulu paints not to perfect, but to release, a meditative practice that brings her back to present. Each canvas is a reflection of the peace she finds in stillness, the way movement becomes meaning, and how beauty often lies in the unresolved. Her work evokes a quiet immediacy, felt before it’s understood.
Currently focused on expanding her practice through larger-scale and immersive works, Lulu continues to explore the edges of texture, tone, and the emotional resonance of simplicity.
