Finding Peace was inspired by those quiet moments in nature when everything seems to slow down.
Australian banksias and native foliage fill the foreground, opening out to a peaceful stretch of water and distant hills beneath a soft evening sky. I wanted to capture that feeling of being surrounded by nature, where the busyness of everyday life fades into the background and there’s room to simply breathe.
The native flowers and layered foliage bring the wildness of the Australian landscape into the piece, while the calm water creates a sense of stillness and space.
For me, Finding Peace is about those moments spent outside — walking, exploring and taking in the beauty around you — and remembering how much peace can be found when we stop and look.
Framing
The artwork is finished in our signature handcrafted recycled hardwood timber framing. We source beautiful old timber from around Melbourne, giving it a new life rather than sending it to landfill. Every frame has its own character, adding warmth, texture and a natural connection to the artwork
