This portrait explores identity through fragmentation, color, and emotion. Painted in bold, expressive strokes, the figure emerges from layers of electric blues, acid yellows, soft pinks, and deep indigo shadows, creating a face that feels both intimate and surreal. The exaggerated contrasts and sculptural brushwork dissolve realism into feeling, turning the portrait into an emotional landscape rather than a literal likeness. Wrapped in vivid colour and set against a glowing pink background, the subject carries a quiet intensity suspended somewhere between vulnerability, memory, and self invention. - Emmaleen Diaz
