This painting shows a bathing figure from behind, just after leaving the water. The body is quiet and still, held in soft light. Green surrounds the figure, suggesting grass, shade, or landscape without fully describing it.
The brushwork is loose and gentle, allowing the figure to blend into the space around her. The moment feels unhurried, as if time has slowed after bathing. Rather than telling a story, the painting focuses on a simple pause, when the body is clean, warm, and briefly at rest. - Emmaleen Diaz
