Summer Vibes by Vanessa McMahon-Maver Summer Vibes still life painting is a lovely muted colour palette of washes and painterly strokes. I love these calm scenes that remind me of preparing platters and meals for friends and family. Creating serene compositions that calm a space. This piece is perfect to bring some calm into space, pair it with a similar muted piece or a contrast black and white to create a statement. Great in a living space or kitchen, and even in a bedroom. Artist Bio: Vanessa has shown her work in a number of groups shows around Australia, and recently hosted her own art show, Life In Colour, with fellow artists Amy Compton and Bree Morrison at The Green Space, Mentone, November 2024. Was a Finalist in the Weswal Gallery, Interiors Art Prize 2024, a finalist in the Art to Art, Unearthed Art Prize 2023 and 2024, and awarded Directors Choice, Aspire Gallery 2022.
