The 'Many Moons' series are paintings about noticing time pass and connecting with the beautiful natural moon cycle. This painting layers lunar shapes, sky-inspired gradients and outer space vibes. It is a hand-painted meditation of sorts, that may act as an abstract reminder to feel time pass and perhaps remember to take time to look skyward during often busy days.
Artist Bio: Jacqueline is interested in painting what it feels like moving through and connecting with particular environments. The abstract paintings build up over time with emotive colour and gooey brushwork being key.
Jacqueline has completed a Bachelor of Visual Arts, Honours in Creative Industries and Doctorate in Philosophy (Creative Arts). She has worked as an artist and educator for the past decade and has had several solo exhibitions.
She currently lives in Mcleans Ridges, northern NSW with her young family.
