I aimed to paint these beautiful poppies in an impressionistic style while still capturing the details. It is painted in acrylic on a thin stretched canvas. I applied a thick, luscious layer of gloss varnish to enhance the colours and add protection. Unframed.

Artist Bio: Natalie began painting in Wimbledon, London. Since then, her painting style has evolved into a diverse body of work, ranging from large-scale, realistic floral oil paintings to delicate watercolour florals, as well as acrylic seascapes and landscapes. She now creates from her home studio in North Brisbane, where she lives with her husband, teenage daughter and much loved cats and a dogs.
