This work can be accompanied by 'Same Same', and was developed as part of Pink's solo exhibition 'Bubblegum Bruises' at Northern Rivers Community Gallery.
Artist Bio: Working across painting, sculpture and installation, Pink uses materials such found objects polyurethane, acrylic and pigment to build layered surfaces and forms. Her practice draws on memory and gestures of adornment, shaped by early experiences of femininity and self-presentation.
Her work explores the tension between softness and resistance, where processes of layering and embellishment become a way of reshaping inherited patterns.
