In this painting, lunar shapes repeat and layer in symbolising a the passage of time. A horizon with dusky gradient features in the background. This is a hand-painted little totem to noticing time; perhaps it may offer an abstracted reminder to slow and feel time pass in your often busy day-to-day life.
Artist Bio: Jacqueline is interested in painting what it feels like moving through and connecting with particular environments. The abstract paintings build up over time with emotive colour and gooey brushwork being key.
Jacqueline has completed a Bachelor of Visual Arts, Honours in Creative Industries and Doctorate in Philosophy (Creative Arts). She has worked as an artist and educator for the past decade and has had several solo exhibitions.
She currently lives in Mcleans Ridges, northern NSW with her young family.
