Where the Wildflowers Grow is a vibrant celebration of the Australian countryside, featuring a curious herd of cows gathered amongst an abundance of wildflowers. Deep blues, rich greens and warm pops of orange and yellow create a playful, dreamlike landscape, while the expressive faces of the cows bring a sense of character and intimacy to the scene.
Part of an ongoing series exploring the personality and beauty of cows within the Australian landscape, this work combines bold colour, expressive linework and a slightly whimsical perspective on the familiar rural scene.
