During my last visit to Kyoto and Nara, I was deeply influenced by the way autumn holds space for silence and contemplation. In this work, I do not depict a specific place, but an atmosphere—one that invites the viewer to pause, breathe, and sense the quiet force beneath visible change. I evoke this through the colours of red and orange tones, enhanced by subtle figurative elements. In Japan's autumn, ancient temples glow under trees ablaze with bright red and orange leaves. This scene is a fleeting poem of impermanence—k?y? at its peak—where every rustle of wind and every soft footfall on the carpet of leaves reminds us that beauty, like the season itself, is born to fade, yet lingers eternally in memory and art.
**This work consists of two separate A4-sized parts and will be displayed in two different individual frames or, on demand, in a single frame. Please let me know which is good for you.
