A luminous, dream-drenched forest where colour overtakes logic and memory softens into reverie. Tall trunks in shifting palettes stand amidst a carpet of pinks, violets, and molten greens, as though the floor of the woods has become a pool of thoughts drifting and dissolving. This is not a landscape to be located, but one to be entered — a gentle hideout from reality where time thins and the mind wanders freely.
“Lost in Reverie” invites the viewer to inhabit that in-between place — not quite awake, not quite asleep — where the world feels kinder for a moment.
Artist Bio: Amy Kim’s art seamlessly weaves resilience and vulnerability, connection and solitude, and identity and memory into a rich tapestry of visual storytelling. A Melbourne-based artist with roots in Seoul, South Korea, Amy draws from her cultural heritage and multidisciplinary background in painting, design, and education to create works that fuse the tangible with the surreal. Her practice is marked by bold, vibrant forms, fragmented shapes, and organic lines that narrate the paradoxes of modern human relationships and deeply personal stories.
