Dragon Cloud captures the fleeting drama of nature through sweeping layers of deep indigo, turquoise and luminous white. Billowing forms surge across the canvas, inviting the viewer to discover the unmistakable silhouette of a dragon emerging from the clouds. The painting balances power with serenity, as light appears to break through turbulent skies, creating a sense of movement, mystery and transformation. Soft, fluid edges contrast with darker, weightier masses, evoking the ever-changing atmosphere of a storm. Both abstract and evocative, Dragon Cloud celebrates imagination, encouraging each viewer to find their own stories within the shifting shapes of the sky.
Artist Bio: Through her art making Karen explores alternative ways of imagining and seeing the environments that we live in. Her work is characterised by a meditative quality, with each piece inviting contemplation and introspection. Her work is held in public and private collections and has been celebrated for its ability to evoke calm and reflection. Karen has qualifications in the Visual Arts, Education and Social Sciences, she is the recipient of a number of awards, has held three solo exhibitions and is a regular participant in group shows.
