A botanical abstract painting from Vanessa's new collection, created of her lovely park views. Vanessa is passionate about her surroundings, plants and environment, and has created a series of intuitive abstract botanicals. These beautiful leafy pieces are an evolution of Vanessa's style and a way to free up her process, explore colour and move away from her usual rigid still life artworks.
Artist Bio: Vanessa has shown her work in a number of groups shows around Australia, and recently hosted her own art show, Life In Colour, with fellow artists Amy Compton and Bree Morrison at The Green Space, Mentone, November 2024. Was a Finalist in the Weswal Gallery, Interiors Art Prize 2024, a finalist in the Art to Art, Unearthed Art Prize 2023 and 2024, and awarded Directors Choice, Aspire Gallery 2022.
