Influenced by multiple visits to family in New York City, Moments of Immersion is one in a series of paintings that engage with aerial perspectives of fictional landscapes. Drawing on memory, imagination and personal experience, these works explore the relationship between place, perception and inner experience.
Artist Bio: Geraldine has been exhibiting her artwork across Australia for many years. She had a solo exhibition with Michael Reid Northern Beaches, NSW in 2025 and two solo exhibitions with Art at St Francis in Melbourne in 2023 and 2019. In 2024 Geraldine’s artwork was shortlisted for the Forty Five Downstairs Gallery Emerging Art Awards and the Biennale of Colour and Light at Westend Art Space Melbourne. She was in a group show at No Vacancy in Melbourne, selected as a finalist for the Mornington Peninsular Art Prize and The Doyles Art Prize (QLD) all in 2025. So far in 2026 she has been short listed for the Inside the Box Art Prize (NSW) and Tattersall’s Club Art Award (Qld).
