Artist Bio: Sarah is a full-time artist whose work blends nature’s beauty with a whimsical, offbeat twist. Specialising in oil painting and collage, Sarah draws inspiration from her daily walks through her neighbourhood, capturing the intricate details of plant life in her highly patterned, botanically themed pieces.
Her deep love for textiles is evident in her work, which often incorporates rich textures and layered compositions that evoke the tactile quality of fabric. Color is used liberally, infusing her paintings with vibrancy and energy. Each piece is a detailed expression of nature's forms, designed to uplift and inspire.
Sarah studied at the University of South Australia, where she majored in painting, and later completed a Bachelor of Textile Design at RMIT University. The combination of these disciplines informs her richly layered compositions, which are particular to her own unique spirit, resulting in artwork that is both visually captivating and deeply personal.
Having participated in numerous group exhibitions and held several solo shows, Sarah’s work continues to captivate and inspire, celebrating nature in all its intricate, unexpected forms.
