Couch therapy is about being lazy on my favorite place, the couch.
Doing absolutely nothing can sometimes make us feel guilty, but I think everyone deserves those slow quiet moments too. I wanted this painting to feel soft, comforting, and a little dreamy.
Artist Bio: I create soft, gentle paintings inspired by nature and emotion, and a sense of folk-like warmth, more an interpretation of what I see and feel than something strictly realistic.
I’m a Japanese artist currently based in Australia. My work is inspired by quiet moments, nature, and small emotional shifts in everyday life.
Rather than painting things exactly as they are, I focus on my own interpretation — simplifying forms and using soft colours to create a calm, gentle feeling.
I hope my work brings a sense of calm, warmth, or connection to those who see it.
