Blame Game II explores the instinct to assign fault, using playful marks and symbolic forms to reflect the ways responsibility is shifted, shared, and misunderstood. Rendered through a childlike visual language, the work balances humour with tension, inviting multiple interpretations.
Artist Bio: Musonga Mbogo is a visual artist raised and based on Ngunnawal and Ngambri lands, in Canberra Australia. He is a 2025 recipient of a Churchill Fellowship and has collaborated with the likes of Incu, Nike, The Canberra Hospital, Triple J, Ace Hotel Sydney, Sydney Theatre Company and many more.
His style often employs colourful and literary characteristics. Through his works, he tells a unique story combining his Tanzanian and Zimbabwean heritage as well as his Australian upbringing - often exploring stories of belonging and identity.
