A still life painting created by Vanessa using all of her favourites, the usual suspects, as she has affectionately named them. Collected jars, pots, and plants gifted from loved ones. Vanessa is a keen collector of vintage items such as pottery and vases, and loves searching markets and second-hand stores looking for her latest finds. A past time passed on to her from her nan, that she shares with her Mum and Sister.
Artist Bio: Vanessa has shown her work in a number of groups shows around Australia, and recently hosted her own art show, Life In Colour, with fellow artists Amy Compton and Bree Morrison at The Green Space, Mentone, November 2024. Was a Finalist in the Weswal Gallery, Interiors Art Prize 2024, a finalist in the Art to Art, Unearthed Art Prize 2023 and 2024, and awarded Directors Choice, Aspire Gallery 2022.
