Artist Bio: Michelle, having studied abroad, has exhibited her work both locally and internationally. Her artistic process is intuitive and experimental, allowing the painting to guide her in an exploration of the unmanifested, feminine expression. While her work is predominantly nonrepresentational, subtle glimpses of landscape and the moods of nature often emerge. Michelle’s art draws inspiration from classical and romantic painters, who used atmospheric washes of paint to evoke emotion and move their audience.
