'Hidden Bloom' blends the light-filled essence of Impressionism with expressive abstract elements. Inspired by the Impressionists’ focus on capturing fleeting moments, I use bold colour and loose brushwork to evoke mood and emotion rather than realism. Light is my guide, colour is my voice, and abstraction gives me the freedom to translate feeling into form.
Artist Bio: Ayla's passion for portraiture and figurative art finds expression in the urban landscapes that populate our daily experiences, whether through direct engagement or through the lens of a camera. Each piece becomes a snapshot of a moment in time, capturing the essence of individuals and the unique paths they tread and that our essence is fluid, ever-changing, and shaped by the interactions and memories we collect along the way.
From the tender age of seven, drawing became her sanctuary, an emotional outlet that blossomed into a lifelong love affair with art. Fuelled by the same fervour that ignited her creative journey, she is driven by a profound belief in art's ability to transcend boundaries and touch the lives of others.
