The artwork celebrates Shanghai’s powerful contrast between modern architecture and the quiet glow of the river below.
Artist Bio: Istanbul-born international selling artist currently based in Australia. Originally from Türkiye she now lives and works exclusively from her South Melbourne based studio in Victoria.
Sebnem graduated from the Art Department of the Art and Design Faculty of Dogus University. She then went on to work with one of Istanbul’s most prestige galleries for several years before relocating to Australia.
Widespread sales throughout Türkiye, USA, Europe and Australia her work appeals to the corporate and domestic markets. Her paintings are vibrantly colorful and highly textured which attracts, collectors, home decorators and designers.
