Artist Bio: Jess is a contemporary Yamatji artist living in Queensland whose acrylic paintings celebrate cultural storytelling, identity, and connection to Country. Drawing inspiration from her Yamatji heritage and her life on the East Coast, Jess creates bold and expressive artworks that fuse tradition with modern design.
Her work is known for its strong lines, layered movement and symbolic elements that reflect stories of community, resilience, and belonging. Each piece is created with intention—inviting viewers to experience the power of colour, pattern, and cultural narrative.
