I usually avoid painting cliched landmarks - and they don't come much more famous than the Eiffel Tower, but I took this photo from a 5th floor window of the Musee D'Orsay and loved how the Tower was there but in the background. I find it looks better from a distance; standing guard and acting as a location marker over Paris.
Each piece is created by hand using multiple hand-cut stencils and layers of spray paint, making every work unique.
Artist Bio: After working in the graphic arts industry for fifteen years, Cunningham made the leap into the world of fine art.
Completely self taught, Geoff has worked very hard to develop a unique style and has been a full-time artist since 2007. Cunningham specialises in stencil paintings, though he has also worked extensively with traditional acrylic paint and linocut printing.
