Artist Bio: Anna’s work is somewhat of a journey. Largely influenced by a ceramic background, her landscapes start with a thin plaster base on canvas or wood and left to dry for two days. Then a lot of sanding, scratching etc, a landscape is created through carving back into the surface and using oil sticks, charcoal, oils inks, oil pastels creating a multi layered work. Lots of lines, markings and texture , a landscape with a lot of history.
