Early Afternoon is loosely based on a photo taken in 2025, just as Melbourne was coming into Autumn. The landscape is still, with some clouds in a blue sky. Green foliage sits on the horizon whilst the foreground is rich gold and green autumnal colours. Lots of texture in this landscape, acrylic and oil on canvas, framed in beautiful solid oak.
