This piece focuses on the harmony of summer. It using the shapes I am familiar working with but with an additional plant shape a Matisse-inspired plant to anchor the composition. I wanted to create something that was representing summer. It is a bright, modern tribute to the natural world in bloom.

Artist Bio: Kate's abstract paintings draw inspiration from life's challenges and navigation of them with her family. Each canvas captures a distinct part of their journey, portraying with varied weights, colors, shapes, and sizes that symbolize snapshots of their road along the journey they encounter.
