Artist Bio: Inspired by daily life and lived experiences, Eira responds to the world around her by building colour, shape and surface texture meditatively and intuitively; ambiguous marks allow the viewer freedom for their own interpretation based on personal experience, while partially submerged forms within the many layers hint at the artists subconscious thoughts and experiences. Eira's approach to mark making is experimental and playful, resulting in energetic and lighthearted works that seek to generate an appreciation for everyday life and simple pleasures.
