Dahlia Delight, 2024

Height 76 cm x Width 76 cm
Artwork is stretched and ready to hang & comes with certificate of authenticity
A Cafe au Lait Dahlia aims to capture the delicate beauty of the flower in full bloom. The flower is rendered in soft muted dusty pinks, with petals that curl and curve. Capturing the intricate details of the flower, from the subtle variations in colour. Set against a dramatic black background the velvet looking petals appear like they are jumping off the canvas just waiting to be touched. This is the prettiest of all the Dahlias, often known as dinner plate Dahlia due to their huge flower heads. This beautiful painting would look stunning in both a contemporary or classic setting. The sides are painted black so it can be hung unframed. Please note: framed depiction is for illustration purposes.
*note* this painting does not arrive framed, framed photos are for demonstration purposes.
